We offer technical consultancy and measurement services with the use of modern optical measurement methods. We target our offer inter alia at heat & power generation as well as petrochemical industry. The services provided include:

  • shape measurements of engineering structures
  • displacement and deformation measurements at industrial plants
  • analysis of the acquired data and design assumptions verification

The Team

Krzysztof Malowany

Krzysztof Malowany, President of the Board

My career at Warsaw University of Technology has enabled me to gain experience in the fields of micromechanics, optical design and 3D measurements, presenting opportunities to work at scientific projects aimed at introducing modern 3D measurement techniques to power generation, chemical and construction industry. Works undertaken within these projects have been distinguished with Team Scientific Award of Warsaw University of Technology (pl. Zespołowa Nagroda Naukowa Politechniki Warszawskiej). I have used the experience gained during my scientific career at KSM Vision sp. z o.o. while managing projects carried out for companies such as TAURON Wytwarzanie, Basell Orlen Polyolefins, Faculty of Material Engineering of Warsaw University of Technology, Materials Engineers Group and Energodiagnostyka. I have also designed KSM Visions’s Inspect 360+ system (international patent pending) as well as Capsules m-viewer.

dr inż. Marcin Malesa

Marcin Malesa, PhD, Vice President of the Board

During my work at Warsaw University of Technology I have been a leader of 4 national and international projects aimed at introducing 2D and 3D optical measurement and data processing techniques in industrial conditions. During my career at KSM Vision sp. z o.o., as a Vice President of the Board I have led works for multiple industrial companies.  My professional career has included cooperation with companies such as Tauron Wytwarzanie, Dalkia Warszawa, RSscan (Belgium), ME Group, Astrii Polska. Carrying out scientific projects, I have gained experience in the fields such as 3D measurement methods, machine vision, optical systems, image and 3D data processing as well as software engineering. I am an author and co-author of 5 implementations of optical measurement methods in the industry as well as of 2 patent pendings. In 2013 I was awarded with Team Scientific Award of Warsaw University of Technology (pl. Zespołowa Nagroda Naukowa Politechniki Warszawskiej) for achievements resulting in a technology transfer. I have also become a laureate of the TOP500 Innovators competition, which allowed me to do a 2-month internship at Haas School of Business, University of Berkeley. Apart from technical expertise, my work at Warsaw University of Technology and KSM Vision as well as the courses taken have allowed me to develop project and team management skills and gain knowledge regarding scientific research commercialization.

Krzysztof Magda

Krzysztof Magda, software developer

I have begun my cooperation with the founders of KSM Vision as an intern at the Faculty of Mechatronics, Warsaw University of Technology, and continued as a WUT contractor. My university work involved shape, 2D/3D displacement and deformation measurements, as well as creating software for visualization, analysis and processing of measurement data. As a KSM Vision employee, I have been involved in the Inspect 360+ project from its very beginning, designing and implementing software for demonstration units control and image processing. I was also co-responsible, among others, for creating software for cylindrical objects’ shape analysis, used by the company for processing measurement data captured at industrial plants, as well as for software speeding up edition of images taken with a microscope.
